It uses a precision AQUAvalve5 to release water only when the tray runs dry, so roots never sit in standing water and you never come home to stressed plants. How the system works
Fill the reservoir
Water (with or without nutrients) goes into your reservoir. Gravity pulls it toward the tray. No pump needed.
AQUAvalve5 takes over
Once the tray runs dry, the float valve opens and lets in just enough water to fill it, then closes. No timers, no sensors to calibrate.
Capillary action feeds roots
Spikes or matting wick water up into your substrate, bottom-up on demand. Roots stay consistently moist without sitting in standing water.
You just refill the tank
The system runs itself until the reservoir is empty. Check it every few days. Refill less often if you sized up to a larger tank.
