The matrix pad by florex is a new age feeding system for the plants as it allows even distribution of nutrients and water. Its matrix pad is ideal for usage in pots with a diameter between 7.5’ -18’’ diameters. Unlike the other capillary pads, the flora flex has been designed for placement at the top of the medium, so nutrients and water are distributed evenly.
A similar matrix unit and a circulator are required to go with it to support the matrix pad. The pad is lightweight, and it has to be placed between the medium and the matrix, at plant's top layer for even distribution of nutrients and water. The pad must be placed on the surface of the matrix, and then it should be pressed downwards. With this, plants will get their due of nourishment and nutrients.
