Beneath the graceful look of this lovely little shrub is the rugged and hardy constitution of a Mountain Hydrangea. The Lacecap blossoms provide a full summer of color, arriving on old and new wood against a backdrop of rich green leaves. The flower coloration favors blue but can range from pastel shades of pink to blue to white depending on soil pH. Fall foliage is an attractive shade of burgundy. For this Hydrangea, you can change the color of your blooms by using one of our soil additives, flowers will generally be more blue when grown in acid soils, and pink when grown in alkaline soils.
