Lang Jujube Tree

Lang is a classic drying jujube, valued for pear-shaped fruit that develops its richest character after it wrinkles and cures. The medium-to-large fruit begins green, turns reddish brown, and has firm flesh with mild sweetness when fresh. As it dries, the texture becomes soft and chewy while the flavor deepens into the warm, concentrated character associated with Chinese dates.
