Inspired by William Shakespeare’s ode to spring in The Winter’s Tale, Whichford Pottery's straight-sided pot is illustrated by his lines “When daffodils begin to peer, Why, then comes in the sweet o’ the year.” His words are framed by Daffodils and bordered by narrow raised bands rendered in the master potter’s gray slip trailing. We recommend the use of larger bark mulch or a wire mesh screen to cover the drainage hole.
